A Word from the League
We hope everyone’s enjoying their summer! As we keep inching closer to the start of the school year, we wanted to share some reminders for the Fall ‘22 season and developments made in the offseason.
We’ve included important dates for the upcoming season, fall internships and school merch store announcements and a project to help our programs create their own online presence… school broadcast resources!
MNVL believes the initiatives mentioned in this month’s newsletter can assist not only our program directors, but allow more opportunities for students to further engage and learn about something they have a passion for. Our hope too is that these initiatives can introduce new students to the world of esports through production.
While there’s more to share as school’s resume classes, we want to still mention that we’ll be doing school merch again this season. We started doing this program last season and will continue to support our schools by keeping it as a school fundraiser. The MNVL crew is working hard to finalize a new merch partner, and will keep you updated so orders can be placed in time for the Fall season.

Fall ‘22 Season Information
Important Dates:
September 1st | Fall Registration Opens
September 30th | Fall Registration Closes
October 3rd | First Week of Preseason Begins
October 17th | First Week of Regular Season Begins
December 11th | Last Day of Regular Season
December 16th - 18th | All Star Weekend
TBA | State Finals LAN

Fall ‘22 default weekly game times for matches are as follows:
League of Legends: Tuesdays at 5pm
Valorant: Wednesdays at 5pm
Club Chess: Wednesdays at 6pm
Super Smash Brothers: Thursdays at 5pm
Minecraft 2v2: Thursdays at 6pm
Rocket League 2v2: Sundays at 12pm

Fall ‘22 Internships and School Merch Stores
At MNVL we pride ourselves in having a robust internship program that allows students of our league to develop their skills and build up their resume. For the Fall ‘22 season, we’re thrilled to announce we’ll be hiring more student interns than we ever have in a single season. These positions range across the board and we hope students can find one that interests them to learn more about.
Available Internship Positions:
Casting Interns: Four positions available
League of Legends, Super Smash Bros, Minecraft, Rocket League
Casters will work with Doa, caster with over a decade of experience casting for professional leagues such as the Overwatch League, Teamfight Tactics, Starcraft, League of Legends, and is currently the host of Rainbow 6’s pro league.
This internship is unpaid
League Admin Interns(Must be 18+): One/Two positions available
Will work directly with Jake and Jayson, as well as Wisdom professionals, to build a healthy league for our students
This is a paid internship
All intern positions have been announced in the MNVL Discord server and students can apply directly from the link provided in each announcement.
School merch will be back!! In the coming weeks before the season gets started, programs will be able to opt-in for their own custom school esports merch. We’re keeping it as a fundraising initiative for our schools to earn money back to put towards their program.
We’re working hard to finalize everything needed with a new partner for this season. This is one of our favorite programs that we offer in MNVL, supporting our community and making every team feel as one with official team gear.
Directors, you’ll receive an email with all the details regarding school merch stores. It’ll include the initial form for you to fill out for which colors, logos, etc. you want on the gear in your store.
New MNVL Partnered Stream Program!
School esports programs will be able to apply to join the MNVL Partnered Stream Program through a form we will send to coaches and post in our MNVL Discord channel. When approved, schools will have their stream promoted in several ways and gain access to a plethora our resources built to improve their productions!
We will be using the MNVL Twitch Teams page as a hub for MN High School Esports! This page will list all school channels that are partnered with MNVL, and display when they are live.

Your channel will be featured on the MNVL Leaguespot page
MNVL will add you to our list of channels that we auto host from our main Twitch channel.
We will send you an overlay package with overlays for all MNVL games, and a guide how to customize them for your school
We will also send you a full list of resources that you or your players can use to improve your streams!
