Wisdom Gaming Studios to Host Minnesota Varsity League Fall State Finals at Mall of America®

Top high school esports teams from across Minnesota will compete Jan. 13-15th

Wisdom Gaming, the emerging leader in esports and gaming entertainment, today announced the Minnesota Varsity League (MNVL) Fall State Finals will take place at Wisdom Gaming Studios at Mall of America® January 13-15, 2023. Teams from high schools across Minnesota will compete in Super Smash Bros, Valorant, League of Legends, Minecraft, and Rocket League live from Wisdom Gaming Studios.

“We are excited to bring together the qualifying high school esports teams for the second in-person MNVL State Finals at Wisdom Gaming Studios in January,” said Jake Utities, Director of Minnesota Varsity League. “Students gain experiences and skills that will benefit them both in and out of the classroom through MNVL, and we can’t think of a better way to celebrate these students and their growth than by bringing them together to compete at Mall of America.”

The Fall State Finals are an end cap to a significant year of growth for MNVL, with over 1,000 students participating in the league between the fall and spring seasons, with strong projections looking to 2023 and beyond. Held earlier this year, the MNVL Spring 2022 State Finals was the organizations first in-person event, which sold-out with over 900 tickets purchased for the duration of the weekend.

MNVL Fall State Finals will take place January 13-15, 2023, at Wisdom Gaming Studios on Level 4 East at Mall of America. General admission tickets will go on-sale on December 16th and will be available as single-day, two-day and three-day passes. For viewers at home, all matches will be streamed daily at https://www.twitch.tv/mnvl
