A Word from the League

Hey all,

Just a quick word of thanks from us to all of you for an amazing season. Fall went more smoothly than any in the past, and we are excited to see the incredible growth of Minnesota esports from season to season. This is all testament to the work our teachers, coaches, and players are doing. So thank you for making the fall season particularly great.

In this newsletter you will find the recap of the State Tournament, the announcement of our Winter Series, a new game approaches, and some preliminary information on Spring season.

Finally, this season we saw the launch of our esports merch initiative. With this, any school that is part of our league can get a completely free online merch store for their school's esports program. These stores will sell clothing customized to each esports program, and 15% of sales will return to the school for fundraising! The reason we worked on this initiative was because there were many requests from coaches for more fundraising opportunities, and many requests from players to get jerseys. We are happy to be able to give schools the tools that can help solve both of these challenges at no cost to the program.

These are not the only issues coaches have expressed to us, and we are actively working on developing several other initiatives to address the challenges they are facing. We hope to announce at least one of these before the start of spring season.

Looking forward to growing this with you all,
